(CASTELLANO) No es ninguna revolución del thriller de espionaje. No va a cambiar el género ni a sentarse en la mesa de los grandes clásicos. Pero se deja ver. Y eso, a veces, es más que suficiente. Desde el primer episodio sabe cómo enganchar. Plantea la intriga con eficacia, dosifica la información y mantiene ese equilibrio entre lo que muestra y lo que oculta sin que uno sienta que le están tomando el pelo. Hay tensión, hay ritmo y hay una producción visual bastante cuidada que le da un punto de sofisticación. Es verdad que juega con elementos muy reconocibles: conflicto Este-Oeste, agentes dobles, traiciones internas, matrimonios tensionados por el trabajo. Nada especialmente nuevo. Pero tampoco pretende reinventar nada. Se limita a ejecutar la fórmula con solvencia y cierta elegancia. En algunos momentos se nota la mano de Netflix: subtramas afectivas, dramas personales que a veces diluyen un poco la fuerza del espionaje puro. A mí no me molestaron demasiado, aunque sí es cierto que restan intensidad en ciertos tramos. El conjunto, aun así, mantiene el interés. Los seis episodios ayudan mucho. No se alarga innecesariamente y eso favorece el ritmo. Cuando termina, uno no siente que haya perdido el tiempo. Quizá no deja huella profunda, pero entretiene con eficacia y deja abierta la puerta a continuar. No es una maravilla, pero tampoco lo necesita ser. Es un thriller correcto, bien producido y suficientemente ágil como para recomendarlo sin entusiasmo desmedido, pero sin reservas. (ENGLISH) It’s not a revolution in the spy thriller genre. It won’t redefine espionage storytelling or join the ranks of the classics. But it’s watchable. And sometimes, that’s more than enough. From the very first episode, it knows how to hook the audience. The intrigue is set up efficiently, information is carefully rationed, and the balance between what’s revealed and what’s withheld feels controlled rather than manipulative. There’s tension, solid pacing and a polished visual style that adds a layer of sophistication. Yes, it relies on familiar ingredients: East–West conflict, double agents, internal betrayal, marriages strained by secrecy. Nothing groundbreaking. But it doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel. It simply executes the formula competently and with a certain elegance. At times, you can feel the Netflix touch: emotional subplots and personal drama that slightly soften the espionage edge. They didn’t bother me much, though they occasionally dilute the intensity. Still, the overall narrative holds together well. The six-episode format works in its favor. It doesn’t drag unnecessarily, which helps maintain momentum. By the end, you don’t feel like you’ve wasted your time. It may not leave a lasting mark, but it delivers effective entertainment and leaves the door open for more. It’s not extraordinary, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a solid, well-produced thriller that’s easy to recommend without exaggeration or hesitation.
