(CASTELLANO) La serie arranca con un aire clásico de thriller que no pretende reinventar nada, pero sabe atrapar con lo que ofrece. Hay algo hipnótico en esos escenarios naturales que parecen devorar a los personajes, convirtiendo la belleza del entorno en un contraste con la podredumbre moral que se esconde en la trama. Eric Bana demuestra una vez más que puede cargar con el peso de un personaje complejo, un hombre marcado por el dolor y el deber. A su lado, Rosemary DeWitt aporta una calma inquietante, sosteniendo escenas que, sin ella, podrían perder fuerza. La química entre ambos actores ayuda a mantener la tensión incluso cuando el guion se estira más de lo necesario. No voy a negar que la narración tiene sus altibajos: algunos giros llegan tarde y la historia se recrea demasiado en lo previsible. Pero esa misma cadencia da espacio a los personajes para respirar, para mostrar su fragilidad y sus contradicciones. Quizá ahí resida parte del encanto: no tanto en la sorpresa, sino en el modo en que nos invita a observar cómo el pasado corroe poco a poco a sus protagonistas. Lo que sí es incuestionable es el impacto visual. Cada plano parece buscar la grandiosidad del entorno, como si el paisaje fuese otro protagonista más, recordándonos lo pequeños que resultan los personajes frente a la naturaleza. Esa elección estética dota a la serie de un aire casi poético, aunque a veces se sienta más contemplativa que narrativa. En conjunto, Indomable es un thriller sólido, con momentos potentes y un reparto que brilla por encima de un guion irregular. No es perfecta, pero consigue mantenerte enganchado gracias a la intensidad de sus actores y a una atmósfera que envuelve con fuerza. Una de esas series que, sin revolucionar el género, dejan una huella por la mezcla de emoción, paisaje y melancolía. Eric Bana once again proves he can carry the weight of a complex character, a man marked by grief and duty. At his side, Rosemary DeWitt brings a quiet unease, holding together scenes that might otherwise lose impact. Their chemistry helps sustain the tension even when the script stretches a little too far. I won’t deny the storytelling has ups and downs: some twists arrive too late, and the narrative leans on the predictable. Yet that slower pace gives space for the characters to breathe, to reveal their fragility and contradictions. Perhaps that’s where part of the charm lies: not so much in surprise, but in the way it shows how the past slowly corrodes its protagonists. What cannot be questioned is the visual impact. Every shot seems to aim for grandeur, as if the landscape were another character reminding us how small people are next to nature. This aesthetic choice gives the series an almost poetic air, though at times it feels more contemplative than narrative. Overall, Untamed is a solid thriller, with strong moments and a cast that shines above a somewhat uneven script. It’s not perfect, but it keeps you engaged thanks to its intense performances and a powerful atmosphere. One of those shows that, without reinventing the genre, leaves a mark through its blend of emotion, scenery, and melancholy.
